Your task:

Pre-job Training

On the first day you arrive at the panda base, a staff member will lead you through the explanation of the work content and precautions, and issue you with work clothes, work permit, gloves and so on.

National Treasure Small Classroom
How much do you know about pandas? Before you start working, there will be a professional teacher who will bring the “trainee keepers” a small class on national treasures.
The first step to becoming a panda keeper is to learn the basics of the national treasures, including their current status, behavior and safety matters.

Private Chef for National Treasures

Although the pandas' favorite food is bamboo, they actually eat carrots and nesting dumplings occasionally.
The Wo Wo Tou, which we commonly see at the base, is actually a privately customized feed for the pandas by the keepers, which is like a nutritional supplement for them.
The dumplings are made from barley, grain, corn and other coarse grains, and need to be handmade by the panda keepers to ensure that they are fresh.

We will go into the pandas' “imperial kitchen” and learn how to make the dumplings according to professional panda recipes and under the guidance of the base's teachers.

The ingredients are precise to the penny, and the precise proportions of the ingredients are according to the recipe, in order to give the national treasures a scientific nutritional supplement that will keep them fat and healthy!

Master Panda Behavioral Observation
During this long period of time, you will need to closely monitor the panda cubs under your charge, observing their behavior and activities in detail, capturing their innocent looks at all times, and ensuring their health.

As a “green ball” analyzer
Of course, as a professional keeper (even as a trainee), you can't be completely absorbed in the pandas' tenderness. You will also act as a small assistant in giant panda scientific research, starting from “poop”, conducting marking and recapture method and simulation experiments, as well as biting and differentiating the method and preliminary practice.

You will also record the “poop” data you observe, and then analyze the survival status of giant pandas, experiencing the hardship and difficulty of giant panda field population surveys.
